The field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while the weakened frontal system is shifting north of the Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW and NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel NE 12-24 knots, easing briefly a little around midday. Sea 1-2, in the afternoon 2-3. Visibility 20 km. During the forenoon fine or fair, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic with a risk of light scattered rain, but clearing is expected later on.

Light to moderate NE and NW, only in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds fresh, in places up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to moderate. Mostly clear.
