Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northeast, while the low over the Tyrrhenian Sea will be filling up slowly.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 8-18, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 32, in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic E and SE winds 12-26, at first up to 30 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the open 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open of the South and Central Adriatic.

Prevalentemente nuvoloso con locali piogge, rovesci e tuoni, prevalentemente al largo dell'Adriatico meridionale e centrale, e verso la meta' della giornata anche lungo la costa dell'Adriatico meridionale. Il vento da debole a teso, sull'Adriatico settentrionale e su parte dell'Adriatico centrale fino a forte, e nel Canale di Velebit di forza burrasca, in attenuazione a debole e teso, sull'Adriatico settentrionale fresco e forte. Sull'Adriatico meridionale e su parte dell'Adriatico centrale il vento da moderato a fresco da SE ed E. Il mare mosso e molto mosso, al largo all'inizio anche agitato.
