The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from northwest, while the cold front is shifting further southeastwards.

NE, in the open sea NW winds, 16-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots, easing slowly toward the end of the day. Sea 3-4, calming during the night. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear. In the South Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, along the coast with a risk of sleet and snow, and toward the open sea with a little chance of isolated rain showers and thunder.
