Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west, while the low is shifting from the central Mediterranean eastwards.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and N, in the open sea of the Central Adriatic NW winds, 14-28, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 35 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel and toward the open locally up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy, still with a risk of light scattered rain in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first.
