Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the north, while the low over the central Mediterranean is slowly filling up.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
In the North Adriatic NE winds 8-18, in the Velebit Channel up to 28, more to the south E and SE winds 4-14, in places up to 22, turning in the evening, firstly along the coast, to NE 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, locally up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain and with chance of isolated rain showers with thunder.

Light to moderate, in the North Adriatic up to fresh, and in the Velebit Channel up to strong NE winds. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear, only in the South Adriatic variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, but gradual clearing is expected toward midday, except in the extreme south.
