The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north.

NE winds 6-16, in the North Adriatic up to 20, in the Velebit Channel up to 28, easing during the forenoon and turning to NW, along the coast to SW, 6-16, only in the Velebit Channel NE winds still reaching 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the North Adriatic still up to 4 at first. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic still mainly cloudy with rain in places at first.
