Synopsis
The trough with frontal disturbance is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards, while the ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds strengthening to 10-22, in the North Adriatic up to 26, in the Velebit Channel up to 32, easing and dying down in the North Adriatic, except in the Velebit Channel, where NE winds will still reach 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3, only locally up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing from midday, firstly in the north of the Adriatic.

Mostly clear. Moderate to strong NE winds. In the North Adriatic calm or light, in the open sea tomorrow up to moderate SE winds. In the Velebit Channel light to moderate NE winds will die down. Sea smooth or slight, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
