Synopsis
The shallow trough is withdrawing from the Adriatic southeastwards, while the ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and NW winds 10-22, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 28 knots, dying down in the North Adriatic, except locally in the Velebit Channel, where NE winds will still reach up to 16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 20 km. The skies expected to clear up, but in the South Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with a chance of isolated rain showers.
