LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS EXPECTED IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, IN THE CENTRAL LATER ON, REACHING 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 55 KNOTS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOMORROW BEFORE DAWN AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL LATER ON.

The broad field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is slowly weakening, while the trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

SE, along the coast at first still SW winds as well, 6-16 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North, then in the rest of the Adriatic, cloud increase, bringing rain in places of the North and Central Adriatic through the night.

Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, in the North Adriatic toward morning and in a part of the Central Adriatic later on, a chance of isolated rain showers with thunder. Moderate SE and E winds, in the South and in the smaller part of the Central Adriatic up to fresh in places, and turning in the North, then in the Central Adriatic to NE, strengthening to moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel briefly up to near gale force. Sea slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate in the morning.
