Synopsis
The trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds strengthening to 12-24 knots in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic through the morning and gradually in the rest of the Adriatic later on, easing a little in the afternoon and turning along the west Istrian coast and toward the open sea to NW. Sea 2-3, increasing locally during the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with a chance of rain in places, but skies expected to clear up gradually from midday, firstly in the North Adriatic.
