A CHANCE OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM MIDDAY, BRIEFLY UP TO 55 KNOTS, EASING LATE IN THE NIGHT. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC.

The shallow trough with frontal disturbance is shifting partly across the Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure will intensify from the northwest.

In the North Adriatic SE and SW winds easing to 6-16, strengthening and turning around midday to NE 12-24, briefly up to 28 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic SE, toward the open sea SW winds, easing to 4-12 knots, but strengthening again in the afternoon to 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the North Adriatic in the afternoon to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Elsewhere variably cloudy with a chance of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly along the coast around midday.

In the Central and South Adriatic light to moderate SE winds, strengthening in the second part of the night up to fresh. In the North Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds, easing and turning around the middle of the night to light to moderate SE winds. Sea slight, in the North Adriatic still up to moderate in the first part of the night.
