The shallow low over the western Mediterranean is extending the trough over the Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
In the North Adriatic NE winds 8-18, in the Velebit Channel up to 22, strengthening late in the day and during the night to 16-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic mainly NW and NE winds 4-14, only in places up to 18 knots, turning to SE and SW through the night. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a chance of a few spotty showers with thunder.

In the North Adriatic moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds. In the rest of the Adriatic moderate, only in places up to fresh, variable winds, mainly SE and SW. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a chance of a few spotty showers with thunder.
