The low is drifting across the Adriatic eastwards, while the ridge of high pressure is slowly intensifying from the northwest.

In the North, in the afternoon in the Central Adriatic as well, NE winds 16-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 38 knots. In the South Adriatic NW winds 6-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-15 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder. Gradual clearing is expected in the North Adriatic late in the day.

Moderate to near gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force, NE winds. Sea slight, locally up to moderate. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic gradual clearing, in the rest of the Adriatic still variably cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder.
