From the middle of the night light isolated thunderstorms and gusts of NE wind intensifying to 35-45 knots are expected in the North Adriatic

A field of raised and almost equalized air pressure is staying over the Adriatic while at night a cold front is expected to be approaching from the northwest.

In the North Adriatic calm or SE and SW winds 4-10, late in the day SE wind intensifying to 6-16 knots, at first towards the open sea. In the South and Central Adriatic calm or NW wind 4-12, midday along the coast mostly SW 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, still initially 2-3 in the far south. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, midday moderate daily cloud increase along the coast while late in the day and at night in the North, then also in the Central Adriatic more intense cloud increase and from the middle of the night a risk of rain and showers with thunder in the North Adriatic.
