A cold front is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards while a ridge of high is intensifying from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE wind intensifying to 10-20, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 24, at the foot of Velebit up to 30 knots, midday diminishing to 4-14 knots and late in the day at the foot of Velebit intensifying again to 8-16, only in some places up to 20 knots. Still initially in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds 5-15 knots. Sea 2-3, forenoon 4 locally in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Visibility 10-20 km. There will be scattered rain and possible showers with thunder. Already forenoon clearing up in the North Adriatic, then in the Central Adriatic.

Mostly clear while in the far south variably cloudy with a risk of rain, showers and thunder. Light to moderate NE and NW winds, along the coast NE possibly reinforced only in some places. Sea smooth to slight.
