IN THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NW, IN THE EVENING BRIEFLY OF NE WINDS, 35-40 KNOTS, EASING THROUGH THE NIGHT. A CHANCE OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY ALONG THE COAST OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH ADRIATIC.
Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the north and it is further weakening, while moist and unstable air is circulating in high levels.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic 12-24, turning along the coast in the evening to NE 4-14, in the southern part up to 18 knots, gradually easing through the night. Sea 2-3, increasing in the South and Central Adriatic in the afternoon to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly sunny, but in places still variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly along the coast of the North and South Adriatic.

Light, in the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate NW, along the coast NE winds as well, gradually easing and dying down through the night, and toward midday giving way to light SW. Sea smooth or slight, calming toward midday. Mostly clear.
