The shallow field of low pressure lies over the Adriatic, while the trough with frontal system is slowly drifting eastwards.

In the North Adriatic S and SE winds 10-20 knots, turning briefly west of Istria to SW. In the Central and South Adriatic SE winds 18-36, easing toward evening to 12-24 knots. Sea 4-5, calming in the northern part of the Adriatic to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with rain and isolated heavier rain showers with thunder.

S and SE winds further easing to light to moderate and turning in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic to NW and NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the south of the Adriatic still up to moderate at first. Gradual and partial clearing, but in places still variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
