Synopsis
A ridge of high is intensifying from the north-west towards the Adriatic while humid and unstable air is coming in high levels.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW wind, 10-20, during the day locally along the coast of the North Adriatic also NE up to 20 knots. Late in the day NW wind will be turning to NE and N winds along the coast of the Adriatic. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy locally along the coast with a chance for rain or showers with thunder, mostly in the afternoon. Mostly fine in the open sea.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate and reinforced NW, along the coast also moderate, only in some places up to strong NE and N winds, gradually decreasing in the far north of the Adriatic. Sea smooth to slight, at night in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic also moderate. Fine to fair while locally along the coast there will be increased cloudiness and a chance for scattered rain or showers.
