Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north, while moist and unstable air is still circulating in high levels over the North Adriatic.

Calm or NE and NW winds turning to SE 4-12 knots. In the North Adriatic this morning still NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel and north of Istria up to 20 knots, rapidly easing. Sea 1-2, in the north of the Adriatic at first still 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the north of the Adriatic variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly this morning.
