The weakened cold front is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 8-18, in the North Adriatic up to 24, in the Velebit Channel up to 36, easing to 4-14, in the North Adriatic to 20, and in the Velebit Channel to 26 knots. In the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic NW winds 10-20, at first possibly up to 25 knots. Sea 2-3, only locally up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon.

Clearing, but rain, isolated rain showers and thunder still possible in the South Adriatic at first and in the open of the South Adriatic during the night. Light to fresh NE, in the open sea NW winds as well. In the Velebit Channel NE winds again up to near gale force tomorrow. Sea smooth or slight, only locally up to moderate.
