Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest, while the weakened cold front is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and N winds 8-18, in places up to 24, strengthening again in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Variably cloudy with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunder, but clearing is expected, firstly in the North, in the evening in the Central Adriatic as well.

Moderate to strong NE and N winds, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE. Sea slight, locally up to moderate. Mostly clear, but, mainly in the South Adriatic, still variably cloudy with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly toward the open sea.
