Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure has intensified toward the Adriatic from the west, while the trough still lies over the South Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and NW winds 8-16 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE, in the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon NW, in places up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear and hot, but in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunder in the far south.
