The cold front is shifting across the Adriatic, while the ridge of high pressure will intensify from the northwest.

NE winds 18-34, in the Velebit Channel up to 46 knots, briefly turning toward the open sea from midday to NW and gradually easing. Sea 3-4, in the North and Central Adriatic 4-5, calming in the afternoon. Visibility 10-20 km. Passing cloud increase with a chance of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, but clearing is expected around midday.
