The trough with frontal system is slowly approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
Calm or SE winds 4-12, in the Central and South Adriatic from midday NW, along the coast in the afternoon SW 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open possibly 3. Fine or fair with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open of the North and South Adriatic in the morning and along the coast of a part of the North Adriatic in the afternoon.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Mostly clear, but heavier cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night, bringing rain, showers and thunder later on. Calm or light, in places at first still up to moderate NW, in the northern part of the Adriatic SE and SW winds. In the North Adriatic in the second part of the night light to moderate NE winds, in the Velebit Channel possibly up to fresh before the morning. Sea mainly smooth.
