The field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while the frontal disturbance is shifting north of the Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW, in places along the coast SW winds, 4-12, in the Central and South Adriatic up to 16 knots. Along the coast during the night calm or NE winds 4-10, in the Velebit Channel up to 14 knots. Sea 1-2, locally in the South and Central Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in places along the coast of the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a little chance of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the afternoon.
