Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while the trough with cold front is approaching from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 6-16, in the South Adriatic up to 20 knots, easing later on. Around midday and in the afternoon SE, along the coast SW winds, 5-15 knots. Sea 1-2, only locally up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the far north.

In the North, from midday in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Elsewhere mostly clear. Light, locally in the open sea up to moderate SE winds. In the far north of the Adriatic NE winds, strengthening to light to moderate. Sea smooth, only locally up to slight.
