The trough with cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE, in the North Adriatic along the coast E winds as well, gradually strengthening to 10-20 knots. In the North Adriatic this morning still NE and NW winds in places, 5-15, in the Velebit Channel up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear or fine, but in the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a chance of occasional rain showers and thunder, mainly this morning and in the evening.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate to strong SE winds easing a little late in the day and during the night and turning in places to SW. Sea mainly slight, locally in the Central and South Adriatic late in the day up to moderate. In the South Adriatic mostly clear, elsewhere gradual cloud increase with isolated rain showers and thunder, firstly in the North, during the night in the Central Adriatic as well, mainly along the coast.
