A ridge of high is spreading from the north over the Adriatic while humid and unstable air is circulating in high levels.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW wind 10-20 knots while in the Velebit Channel NE wind 12-26 knots. During the night along the coast NE wind 8-18, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 22, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. Sea 2-3, only in some places 4. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, rain showers and thunder, initially mostly along the coast of the South and Central Adriatic, at night in the open sea as well.
