Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest, while the shallow low is shifting from the far south of the Adriatic further southeastwards.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and NW winds 10-20, in places at first up to 24 knots, easing in the North Adriatic late in the day. Sea 2-3, locally at first up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but clearing is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon.

Moderate to fresh NW, easing till the morning to light to moderate, and along the coast light NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, calming in the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic till the morning to smooth. Mostly clear, but in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy at first.
