Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is intensifying towards the Adriatic from the northwest but there is a small quantity of unstable air in high levels.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots, in the evening along the coast turning to NE 8-18 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE 10-20 knots, in the afternoon temporarily decreasing and in the evening increasing again. Sea 2-3, locally in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 4. Visibility more than 20 km. Fine to fair but still initially variable cloudiness and a low risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mostly locally in the open sea.
