Gusts of NE wind intensifying to 35-45 knots in the North Adriatic, late in the day also in a part of the Central Adriatic and in the second part of the night in places southwards, in the evening up to 60 knots at the foot of Velebit as well. A chance of light isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the North Adriatic and in the open sea. In the morning still a chance of fog in the Central and South Adriatic.

A ridge of high is intensifying from the northwest while a weakened frontal system is shifting with its major part more northwards the Adriatic.

In the North Adriatic NE and E winds 8-18, locally up to 22 knots, towards evening still intensifying while southwards mostly SE wind 4-14 knots. Sea intensifying to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km, still in the morning in places possibly reduced to about 5 km due to mist but in the Central and South Adriatic there is a low risk to be reduced to less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear while variable cloudiness and a chance of rain showers and thunder in the North Adriatic and in the open sea.

NE wind further on intensifying to moderate to strong, at the foot of Velebit to near gale force as well and it will be spreading from the North to a part of the Central Adriatic, then in the second part of the night also more southwards. Sea smooth to slight, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate as well. Still variable cloudiness and a chance of rain showers and thunder in the open sea.
