LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and NW WINDS 35-45, IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC UP TO 55, AND IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 70 KNOTS. IN THE FAR SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC STILL GUSTS OF SE WINDS UP TO 45 KNOTS AT FIRST. SEA LOCALLY UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC.

The low with frontal disturbance over the Adriatic is slowly shifting further southeastwards.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 18-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 36 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds 6-16, in the far south of the Adriatic still up to 28 knots at first, but gradually turning to NE, in the open sea to NW winds, 12-22, in places up to 26 knots. Sea 3-4, locally up to 5. Cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, particularly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force NE, in the open sea NW winds, easing toward midday, firstly in the North Adriatic. Sea slight and moderate, locally in the southern part of the Adriatic up to rough. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Gradual clearing is expected firstly in the North, then in the greater part of the Central Adriatic.
