Synopsis
The shallow low with frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic further southeastwards, while the ridge of high pressure will briefly strengthen a little from the west, but moist and unstable air will still remain in high levels.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW and NE winds 6-16, toward the open sea NW 10-20, in places briefly up to 24, gradually easing toward the end of the day, firstly in the northern part. In places of the South Adriatic still SE winds 8-18 knots at first. Sea 2-3, toward the open 3-4. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but partial clearing is expected during the forenoon along the coast of the North, then of a part of the Central Adriatic as well.

Light to moderate NW winds gradually easing and turning firstly in the North Adriatic to S and SW, rapidly strengthening in the northern part to moderate and fresh. Sea smooth or slight, increasing in the North Adriatic to moderate. Variably cloudy in places, still with a chance of scattered rain, mainly in the South Adriatic.
