The trough with frontal system is shifting from the Adriatic southeastwards.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
In the North Adriatic NW and NE winds 4-12, in the second part of the day south of Istria NW up to 16 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic NW, in places along the coast in the morning NE winds, 6-16, and in the open sea NW 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic in the second part of the day 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly fair and rather warm. In the South Adriatic still variably cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers in the morning.

Light to moderate NW and NE winds and sea smooth or slight. In the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic NW winds up to strong and sea moderate. A chance of fog patches in the far north of the Adriatic. Fine or fair.
