Gusts of NE wind increasing to 35-45 knots forenoon in the North, at night also in a part of the Central Adriatic and up to 60 knots in the Velebit Channel. Still in the morning fog in places, then a low risk of light isolated thunderstorms only in some places.

There is a field of raised air pressure across the Adriatic but a weakened frontal disturbance is approaching from the north.

NW wind 4-14, towards the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic up to 18 knots whereas still in the morning along the coast NE 4-10 knots. Forenoon in the North Adriatic NE wind intensifying to 12-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, still initially 1-2 in the North Adriatic. Visibility 10-20 km, still in the morning locally reduced to less than 1 km due to fog. Variably cloudy and mainly in the second part of the day only in some places with a low risk of slight rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.

In the North Adriatic NE further on intensifying to moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel of near gale force and spreading to a part of the Central Adriatic whereas in the remaining part light to moderate NW and NE winds, in the open reinforced. Sea smooth to slight, locally in the North Adriatic moderate. Variably cloudy, only in some places with a low risk of slight rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
