Synopsis
A weakened frontal system is shifting northward from the Adriatic towards the east whereas a ridge of high is intensifying from the west.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
In the North and along the coast of the Central, in the afternoon also South Adriatic NE wind 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots whereas in the remaining part NW wind 8-18 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km, forenoon locally in the North and Central Adriatic reduced to about 5 km due to mist. Fair to mostly cloudy but in the Central and South Adriatic with a low risk of isolated rain showers.

Moderate to strong NE, in the Velebit Channel also of near gale force and locally in the open of the Central and South Adriatic moderate to reinforced NW. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy but at night less clouds, first in northern part.
