The field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while the trough with cold front is approaching from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE winds gradually strengthening to 12-24 and turning in the North Adriatic in the afternoon to NE and strengthening to 16-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 36 knots. Sea 2-3, gradually increasing to 3-4. Visibility 5-15, in places in the morning even less than 1 km due to fog. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a chance of isolated rain showers with thunder, while in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder expected in the second part of the day.

Strong and near gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds, spreading to a part of the Central Adriatic. In the rest of the Adriatic still moderate to strong SE winds. Sea moderate. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
