IN THE NORTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-55, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 80 KNOTS, EASING LATE IN THE DAY. IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE FIRST PART OF THE DAY LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and E WINDS 35-45, THEN OF NE and E WINDS 35-45 KNOTS, EASING THROUGH THE NIGHT. IN THE NORTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC SEA LOCALLY UP TO 5 DURING THE DAY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS STILL IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC.

The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest, while the low is shifting from the Ligurian Sea further southeastwards.

In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 14-28, in places up to 32, and in the Velebit Channel up to 38 knots, easing late in the day. In the rest of the Adriatic E and SE winds 12-26, turning in the afternoon to E and NE winds 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4, toward the open of the North and Central Adriatic locally up to 5. Visibility 5-15 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, while gradual clearing from the northwest is expected in the North Adriatic during the forenoon.

NE winds moderate to strong, easing in the second part of the night. Sea slight and moderate, calming in the second part of the night. In the North Adriatic mostly clear, elsewhere variably cloudy, still with scattered rain and isolated rain showers, but partial clearing is expected there as well through the night.
