Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is slowly weakening, while the trough with cold front is approaching from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
Calm or SE winds 4-8, gradually strengthening toward the end of the day to 6-16, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds up to 20 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing during the night to 2-3, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist, or possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the north of the Adriatic. Fair or mainly cloudy with a little rain or drizzle in the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic.

Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, mainly along the coast. A chance of mist in places. Light to moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to fresh SE and SW winds, in places of the North Adriatic up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, in the north of the Adriatic possibly up to moderate during the forenoon.
