The Adriatic is under the influence of the low from the south and the high from the north whereas upper-level cold and humid air is approaching.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE wind 16-32, locally in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots, elsewhere NE 8-16 knots whereas in the far south SW wind 14-24, late in the day up to 32 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the North and South Adriatic 4-5. Visibility 10 km. Cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, late in the day also with abundant precipitation, mostly in the southern part.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic strong and of near gale force NE wind, in the Velebit Channel also of gale force whereas in the remaining part of the Adriatic moderate to strong NE, towards the open sea also NW wind. Sea slight and moderate, locally in the North Adriatic also rough. Visibility 10 km. Cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, initially also with abundant precipitation in the South Adriatic but during forenoon the precipitation will gradually cease.
