Synopsis
The weakened frontal disturbance is rapidly shifting across the Adriatic eastwards, while a new deep trough with cold front is approaching from the north.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW and NE winds 6-16, in the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic, initially in the Velebit Channel as well, up to 24 knots, easing through the night. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, calming during the night. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a chance of rain or showers in places of the South Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Light to moderate NW and NE winds, gradually turning to mainly moderate SW and NW winds, firstly in the North Adriatic. Along the coast of the South Adriatic light to moderate E wind is expected. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with a chance of quite a bit of rain or snow in places, while a shower is possible in the open sea of the South Adriatic.
