The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest and the low is shifting from the Ionian Sea further eastwards.

NE winds 14-28, in places up to 34, gradually easing in the North Adriatic in the afternoon and toward the end of the day to 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic possibly up to 5. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, while in the open of the South and Central Adriatic during the day still variably cloudy with a little chance of light scattered rain. Gradual cloud increase in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night.
