Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure will intensify over the Adriatic, while the low will rapidly move from the Tyrrhenian toward the Ionian Sea.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
Mainly E and SE, in the open sea NW winds, 6-16, turning firstly in the North Adriatic to NE and strengthening in the evening to 14-28 knots and spreading to the Central Adriatic later on. Sea 2-3, increasing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the evening to 3-4. Overcast with a bit or rain or snow in places and with a chance of isolated rain showers with thunder in the open sea. Skies will clear overnight along the coast.

Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force NE winds will rapidly ease in the course of the morning. Sea slight and moderate. Skies will continue to clear along the coast, while still variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder in the open sea. Increasing clouds in the North Adriatic during the forenoon.
