A low will be slowly shifting across the North Adriatic eastwards, while a ridge of high pressure will intensify from the west.

SE winds turning to SW 16-32, in the North and Central Adriatic to NW, and along the coast to NE winds 16-32 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, along the coast with a chance of sleet and snow.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, while clearing up is expected elsewhere. Moderate to near gale force N and NW, turning along the coast to NE winds, firstly in the north of the Adriatic. Winds will ease in the North Adriatic to light to moderate. Sea slight and moderate, locally in the open up to rough.
