A low is deepening over the Ligurian Sea and it is expected to shift over the Central Adriatic.

In the Central and South Adriatic SE winds 16-32, in the far south up to 36 knots, turning in the afternoon to SW, in places of the Central Adriatic to NE winds, and easing to 10-20 knots. In the North Adriatic NE, in places at first still SE winds, 14-26, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 34 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers with thunder.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to near gale force NE winds, gradually easing, and in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to fresh SW, turning to NW winds, except in the far south of the Adriatic. Sea slight and moderate. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers with thunder, while clearing up is expected in the North Adriatic.
