A shallow low over the Adriatic is gradually filling up, while a ridge of high pressure will intensify from the southwest.

Calm or variable winds 4-8 knots, at first still NW, along the coast NE, 4-14 knots. SE winds expected during the night, reaching 4-14 knots. Sea calming to 1-2, most lately in the south of the Adriatic. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, and in the North Adriatic possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly overnight. Variably cloudy, in the North Adriatic with a bit of rain in places, mainly in the wider area of Rijeka, while isolated rain showers with thunder still possible in the far south of the Adriatic today.
