A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from northern Africa.

SE winds strengthening to 10-20 knots. North and west of Istria calm or NE winds 4-8 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open late in the day up to 4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, in the North Adriatic possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly toward the Italian coast this morning. Mainly cloudy with light scattered rain, mainly in the wider area of Rijeka.
