The low with a frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the west.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE wind increasing to 14-28, in the evening locally to 32 knots whereas northwards and westwards of Istria it will remain calm or with NE wind 6-10 knots. The sea 2-3, in the evening intensifying to 4-5, first southwards of Istria. Visibility 10-20 km, locally reduced to less than 1 km due to fog, mostly along the Italian coast. Mosty cloudy with scattered light rain, mostly in the broader area of Rijeka.

SE wind further on increasing to near gale and gale force and the sea to moderate and rough, during forenoon also very rough in places whereas still only in the first part of the night calm in the far north of the Adriatic. Fog in places, mainly in the open sea. Mostly cloudy with scattered light rain but rain showers with thunder are expected first in the North Adriatic, mostly towards midday.
