SEA LOCALLY 5, IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC IN THE MORNING STILL UP TO 6. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.
Synopsis
The low is shifting across the North Adriatic northeastwards, while a new one is expected to generate in the Gulf of Genoa in the evening.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SW winds 12-24, only in places up to 28 knots, briefly turning in the afternoon to NW, while in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic this morning still SE and S winds 18-36 knots. Sea 3-4, locally 5, and in the open of the South Adriatic in the morning up to 6. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with rain and isolated rain showers with thunder, followed by partial clearing around midday, firstly in the North Adriatic.
