Synopsis
A low is shifting across the North Adriatic northeastwards, while a new one is expected to generate in the Gulf of Genoa in the evening.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SW winds briefly turning in places in the afternoon to NW 12-24, locally up to 28, and giving way again from the middle of the night to SE and S winds 14-28 knots. Sea 3-4, locally up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Partial clearing, firstly in the North Adriatic, but still with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the south of the Adriatic. New cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder during the night, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic.

Strong, in places up to near gale force SE and S winds, easing a little in the northern part around midday and turning to fresh SW winds. Sea moderate and rough. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder.
